Forcing it into dx9 didnt work (still crashed).
Right click on the game in your steam library, click properties, then click Set Launch Options and copy this into the text field: force-d3d9. I can't discern anything from the report, but I had several problems getting DoW2 to work on my PC as well. 9554 04-11-2021 Dawn of war 2 retribution crash error
